VINCENT E. JOHNSON | Partner
Vince Johnson has been practicing law in Kentucky since 1993 and has dedicated his career to advocating for individuals and families throughout the Commonwealth.
As a lifelong self-employed attorney, Vince has built a reputation for hard work, personalized service, and an unwavering commitment to achieving the best possible results for his clients.
Early in his career, Vince handled a wide variety of legal matters, including real estate transactions, criminal defense, and domestic relations cases. This diverse practice provided extensive courtroom experience and helped develop the litigation skills that continue to serve his clients today.
For over twenty-five years, Vince has focused his practice on personal injury litigation, where he is driven by a singular goal: maximizing the financial recovery available to those who have been injured by the negligence of others.
Over the course of his career, Vince has tried more than 20 cases to jury verdicts in Kentucky courts and has secured numerous six- and seven-figure settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients. His trial work has earned statewide recognition, including being listed among Kentucky's largest auto negligence verdicts as published by the Kentucky Trial Court Review. Alongside his partners at Siebert & Johnson, Vince has obtained some of the most significant personal injury recoveries in the state.
Vince's accomplishments have earned the respect of both his clients and fellow attorneys. He holds the prestigious AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer-review distinction for legal ability and ethical standards. He has also been selected by his peers for inclusion in Kentucky Super Lawyers.
Vince is a life member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, distinctions reserved for fewer than one percent of practicing attorneys nationwide. In addition, he is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation-only organization comprised of experienced trial lawyers dedicated to preserving the right to jury trials. Recognized for his extensive personal injury litigation experience, Vince has also been invited to speak at multiple legal seminars, sharing his knowledge and insights with fellow attorneys across the legal community.
Known for his relentless work ethic, Vince is passionate about helping injured individuals obtain justice and fair compensation. Vince and his wife have three children. When he is not practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his family and being active in his church.

Outside the practice of law, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children. Their family stays active with the children’s extracurricular activities of dance, gymnastics, baseball, basketball, and Girl Scouts. In his spare time, Jason enjoys traveling, fishing, golfing, and coaching youth baseball.

DAVID M. SCOTT | Partner
David Scott has been practicing law in Kentucky since 2008 and has built a reputation as one of the state's leading trial attorneys. He began his legal career as a felony prosecutor, focusing on victim-intensive crimes, where he developed the courtroom skills and trial experience that continue to serve his clients today.
Since 2012, David has dedicated his practice to representing individuals who have been seriously injured due to the negligence of others. Over the course of his career, he has tried more than 65 cases to jury verdicts and has secured numerous six- and seven-figure verdicts and multi-million-dollar settlements for his clients across twelve Kentucky counties. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
David's record of success includes some of Kentucky's most significant personal injury and trucking accident verdicts. Alongside Vince Johnson, he obtained the largest auto negligence verdict in Kentucky in 2025 arising from a commercial delivery truck crash. He also secured a $10 million jury verdict in a commercial trucking case, one of the largest verdicts of its kind in the state's history.
David's accomplishments have earned statewide recognition, including being named Plaintiff's Attorney of the Year by Kentucky Trial Court Review in 2015 and being named Runner-Up for the same honor in 2025. Demonstrating his commitment to continual growth as an advocate, David is also a graduate of the prestigious Gerry Spence Method Trial College, completing the program in 2024.
In addition to his trial practice, David is an active contributor to the legal community. He has served as a presenter and speaker at numerous legal seminars, sharing his experience and insights with fellow attorneys on trial advocacy and litigation strategy. He has also been invited to speak to student classes at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law on the subject of trial preparation, helping mentor the next generation of trial lawyers.
David's passion for advocacy began long before his legal career. While in law school, he earned national recognition as a Moot Court Negotiation National Champion, demonstrating the persuasive skills and competitive drive that continue to distinguish him as a trial attorney today.
David is known for his relentless preparation, persuasive courtroom advocacy, and unwavering commitment to achieving justice for his clients. He takes a client-centered approach to every case, working closely with individuals and families to guide them through some of the most challenging times in their lives while aggressively pursuing the results they deserve. When he is not practicing law, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.

DAN E. SIEBERT | Of Counsel
Dan Siebert has been practicing law in Kentucky since 1979 and has spent his entire career representing individuals and families in personal injury litigation. In 1998, he co-founded Siebert & Johnson with Vince Johnson, and over the decades since, he has built a reputation as a dedicated trial attorney and advocate for injured people throughout the Commonwealth.
Throughout his career, Dan has secured numerous multi-million-dollar results for his clients. He served as lead counsel in a product liability case that produced a settlement exceeding $3 million for an injured client and his family, and he prosecuted a class action that created approximately $10 million in funds for class members.
Some of Dan's most lasting work has helped shape Kentucky law in favor of injured people. He successfully argued and won two significant cases before the Kentucky Supreme Court, Mitchell v. Allstate Insurance Co. and Dowell v. Safe Auto Insurance Co., both of which changed how the Commonwealth treats motor vehicle and personal injury insurance claims.
Dan is admitted to practice before Kentucky's state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Kentucky and American Bar Associations, the American Association for Justice, the Kentucky Justice Association, and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Dan is also a member of the Natural Resources Defense Council, a nonprofit advocating to protect wildlife, natural resources, and public health. Known for the depth of his experience and steadiness of judgment, Dan remains a trusted resource for the firm and its clients, and his counsel continues to strengthen the cases Siebert & Johnson handles.
Outside the practice of law, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing music, and he stays actively involved in civic organizations dedicated to education and environmental stewardship.

JASON ELLIS | Partner
Jason Ellis has been representing injured individuals throughout Kentucky since being admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 2009. While attending law school, Jason clerked for Legal Aid of the Bluegrass, where he gained valuable courtroom experience and developed the advocacy skills that continue to benefit his clients today. Jason began his legal career as a personal injury litigation attorney with Siebert & Johnson, where he has devoted his practice to helping clients navigate some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives.
Over the course of his career, Jason has tried more than 15 cases to jury verdicts in eight different counties across Kentucky. His extensive litigation experience and willingness to take cases to trial have helped him secure numerous six- and seven-figure settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients. In 2019, he obtained a nearly seven-figure jury verdict in a motor vehicle accident case, which was recognized as the second-largest motor vehicle accident verdict in Kentucky that year.
